Sligshot Hiphop

فيلم Slingshot HipHop قدمه وادار النقاش حوله الاستاذ قارو صليبيان فيلم مقلاع الهيب هوب هو فيلم توثيقي من عام 2008 من إخراج الفنانة الأميركية الفلسطينية جاكي سلّوم. ويتابع الفيلم الحائز على عدة جوائز سينمائية توثيقية تطور موسيقى الهيب هوب والراب الفلسطيني من بداياتها كأسلوب للمقاومة ضد الإحتلال عبر الموسيقى والكلام، وتحديدا عبر عدة فرق ومؤدو الراب من فلسطينيي الضفة الغربية وغزة وإسرائيل، مركّزا على عدة تشكيلات مهمة حازت على شهرة محلية وعربية وعالمية مثل دام وبالستينيان رابرز ومحمود الشلبي وغيرهم مع إعطاء مساحة مهمة للرابرات الفلسطينيات مثل آرابيات وعبير الزيناتي الخ. كما يتعرض الفيلم لمشاهد معبّرة ومهمة عن معاناة الشباب الفلسطيني اليومي مع الإحتلال الذي عمد الى إنشاء الجدار العازل وشدد على وسائل الإنتقال عبر الممرات وعدم وجود فرص عمل في المجتمع والقهر الإقتصادي والإجتماعي والسياسي للفلسطينيين. افتتحت عروض الفيلم في مهرجان صاندانس السينمائي في الولايات المتحدة وعرضت لاحقا في العديد من المهرجانات الأخرى من بوسطن وشيكاغو وأمستردام ولندن وستوكهولم ودبي وبيروت ودمشق. كما عرض الفيلم في عدة مدن فلسطينية وفي المخيمات الفلسطينية في لبنان وسوريا مع مناقشات حية حول وقائع الفيلم. الموقع الرسمي للفيلم: http://www.slingshothiphop.com نبذة عن مقدم الفيلم قارو صليبيان إعلامي لبناني كندي عمل محررا ومن ثم رئيسا للتحرير في جريدة "فينيسيا" الصادرة في مونتريال. عمل أيضا في مجال التعليم وحاليا في التدقيق المالي في إحدى أهم الفنادق في مونتريال. مجاز في إدارة الأعمال وفي الحقوق ويحمل شهادة ماجستير في التحليل المالي. له نشاطات مهمة في الحياة الثقافية من محاضرات ومناقشات ولقاءات إعلامية بالإضافة الى إدارة موقع عالمي للموسيقى بإسم عالم واحد في تمام الساعة السابعة من يوم السبت الوقع في الثامن من شهر حزيران - جوان القادم 1925 de l'Église, Saint-Laurent, Quebec H4M 1E6 ========== Gilgamesh Society presented "Slingshot HipHop" film. produced and directed in 2008 by the Palestinian- American artist Jacky Sallum. The numerous award-winning documentary film portrays and depicts specifically through many Palestinian Rap groups and artists from the West Bank and Gaza and Israel in both Musics and Talks the evolution of the Palestinian HipHop and Rap music right from its inception as a way and weapon to resist the occupation. The film focuses on various important rap bands that have gained fame locally, through the Arab world and internationally. Artists like; Dam, Palestinian Rappers, and Mahmoud Shalabi and others who have given important space to the Palestinian Rap like Arabiat and Abeer Al Zynaty etc.... The film also shows important and meaningful scenes of the daily suffering of the Palestinian youth from the Occupation who built the barrier and restricted the movement through the corridors and the lack of employment opportunity in the society, and also, exposed the economic, social and political oppression of the Palestinian.
