Ziad Alrahbani

فن زياد الرحباني بين الحرب وثقافة اليسار. ١٩٧٣ - ١٩٨٥ الدكتورة رلا الجردي تسلط الضَّوء على ثقافة اليسار في لبنان، ودورها في بلورة تجارب وإنجازات زياد الرَّحباني الفنيَّة. كما ستستعرض المحطات الرئيسيَّة في عطائه الموسيقي والمسرحي بين سنة ١٩٧٣ و١٩٨٥، والأسس التي ارتكز إليها في نقد مسرح الرَّحابنة "التقليدي" السائد آنذاك، والتحوُّلات التي طرأت على فنّه في الفترة الممتدَّة بين مسرحيَّته الأولى، "سهريّة" والثانية، "نزل السُّرور". ومن خلال قراءته الخاصَّة للحرب اللبنانيَّة، وتصويره لإشكاليَّة العلاقة بين الفرد من جهة، والدولة والطائفة والعائلة من جهة أخرى، مجتهدًا في الماركسيَّة، أضفى أبعادًا جديدة على العمل المسرحي العربي المعاصر. نبذة: رلى الجردي شاعرة وروائيَّة لبنانيَّة. تعمل كأستاذة للتَّاريخ الإسلامي في جامعة ماكغيل. نشرتْ مقالات عديدة حول التاريخ والأدب إلى جانب كتابَيها ومقالاتها المتفرِّقة حول التحوُّلات الفكريَّة والاجتماعيَّة والسيَّاسيَّة في لبنان والعراق وإيران. نُشرتْ لها قصائد عديدة في مجلات متفرِّقة مثل الآداب، جدليَّة، PULPباللُّغتين العربيَّة والإنكليزيَّة، ومُترجمة أيضًا إلى الإنكليزيَّة والفرنسيَّة والصِّينيَّة. وقد ظهرت قصيدتها "شِفاهيٌّ" (Oral) بالإنكليزيَّة على اللَّائحة القصيرة لجائزة ماغپي (The Magpie Award for Poetry). لها روايتان بعنوان “الكثافة: قصة حرب لبنانية" و"في علبة الضَّوء" وستُنشَر لها قريبًا رواية أخرى قريبا. لها مجموعتان شعريِّتان بعنوان، "غلاف القلب" و"كليلى أو كالمدن الخمس". في تمام الساعة السابعة مساء من يوم السبت الواقع في الواحد والعشرين من شهر تشرين الثاني - نوفمبر من هذا العام المحاضرة عبر الانترنت - زوم

============ Gilgamesh society presents : The art of Zeyad al-Rahbani, war and the culture of the left By Dr. Rula Jurdi Rula Jurdi sheds light on the culture of the Left in Lebanon, and its role in shaping the experiences and artistic achievements of Zeyad al-Rahbani. She explores the major features of Zeyad’s musical and theatrical output between 1973 and 1985, and the foundations for his critique of the traditional and popular Rahbani theatre at the time. She discusses the transformation of his art during the period stretching between his first play, “Sahriyyeh” (A Festive Evening), and the second, “Nazl al-Surur” (Happiness Motel). Based on his subjective reading of the Lebanese war and the problematic relationship between the individual, on the one hand, and the state, sect, and family, on the other, Zeyad advanced a local interpretation of Marxism, that ultimately gave new dimensions to modern Arab theatre. Author: Rula Jurdi is a poet and novelist. She is Professor of Islamic History at McGill University. She has several academic publications in the form of books, articles, and essays that cover Islamic intellectual and sociopolitical history; postcolonialism and Marxist thought; modern Arabic fiction. She has two poetry collections, namely, Ghilaf al-Qalb (The Heart’s Peel) (2013), and Ka-Layla aw ka’l-mudun al-khams (Like Layla or the Five Cities) (2016). Her Poem, “Oral” was shortlisted for the Magpie Poetry Award. She published two novels, namely, al-Kathafa (Thick Air: a Lebanese war story) (2007) and Fi `Ulbat al-Daw’ (In a Box of Light) (2017). She has a forthcoming a new novel ============== La société Gilgamesh présente : L'art de Zeyad al-Rahbani, la guerre et la culture de gauche Par le Dr Rula Jurdi Rula Jurdi va discuter de la culture de la gauche au Liban et de son rôle dans la conception des expériences et des réalisations artistiques de Zeyad al-Rahbani. Elle explore les principales caractéristiques des productions musicales et des pièces de théâtrale de Zeyad entre 1973 et 1985, et les fondements de sa critique du théâtre traditionnel et populaire des Rahbani de l'époque. Elle évoque la transformation de son art durant la période qui s'étend entre sa première pièce de théâtre, " Sahriyyeh " (Une veillée festive), et la seconde, " Nazl al-Surur " (Motel du bonheur). En se basant sur sa lecture subjective de la guerre civile du Liban et de la relation problématique entre les individus, d'une part, et l'État, la secte et la famille, d'autre part, Zeyad a avancé une interprétation locale du marxisme, qui a finalement donné de nouvelles dimensions au théâtre arabe moderne. À propos de la conférencière : Rula Jurdi est une poète et une romancière. Elle est professeur d'histoire de l'Islam à l'Université McGill. Elle a publié plusieurs ouvrages, articles et essais sur l'histoire sociopolitique des intellectuels de l'Islam, le postcolonialisme et la pensée marxiste, et la fiction arabe moderne. Elle possède deux recueils de poésie, à savoir Ghilaf al-Qalb (La peau du cœur) (2013) et Ka-Layla aw ka'l-mudun al-khams (Comme Layla ou les cinq villes) (2016). Son poème " Oral " a été sélectionné pour le prix de poésie Magpie. Elle a publié deux romans, à savoir al-Kathafa (Thick Air : a Lebanese war story) (2007) et Fi 'Ulbat al-Daw' (In a Box of Light) (2017). Un nouveau roman est à paraître. Quand ?
