===== La société Gilgamesh organise un colloque en hommage au grand penseur arabe et syrien Georges Tarabichi. Pendant de longues décennies, M. Tarabichi travaillait dans le domaine culturel et politique. Un travail de moine visant à ouvrir des horizons et sculpter la conscience de plusieurs générations. La société Gilgamesh est fière de ce personnage qui croyait en l'importance de la pensée dans le développement de la conscience arabe. Pour cette raison, entre autres, la société Gilgamesh a décidé de rendre hommage à M. Tarabichi pour faire savoir et valoir son patrimoine scientifique varié ainsi que son expertise profonde et sa vision unique en mettant l'emphase sur sa pensée libre, savante, objective et authentique. La société Gilgamesh cherche à immortaliser dans les esprits la mémoire de cette sommité du monde de la pensé qui essayait coeur et âme d'inscrire les syriens et les arabes dans le monde de la modernité. Nous avons tous appris de M. Georges Tarabichi comment appartenir aux mondes du soi et de l'autrui sans craindre de perdre son identité. Participera à ce colloque, qui va être modéré par Dr. Nezar Hammoud d'abord. M. Nizar Salloum, Dr. Hassan Jamali, Dr. Mohamed Ourya et Dr. Nofal Nayouf. Les axes du colloque : M. Nizar Salloum : Le fixe et le variable dans le trajectoire idéologique de Georges Tarabichi Dr. Hassan Jamali: démocratie et laïcité chez Tarabichi Dr. Nofal Nayouf : Une nouvelle lecture de la vision de Tarabichi sur le sujet de la relation entre l'orient et l'occident dans le roman arabe. Dr. Mohamed Ourya : La pensée occidentale vue par l'oeuil critique de Tarabichi. لقد تعاطى الأستاذ جورج طرابيشي الشأن الفكري والثقافي والسياسي نقدا وتحليلا لعشرات السنين الطويلة، مارس فيها التنوير وصياغة وعي أجيال بأكملها.جمعية جلجامش تعتز بهذه القامة السامقة التي آمنت برسالة الفكر لتنمية الوعي العربي. لذلك وغيره، تحتفي الجمعية بذكرى صاحب هذه الرسالة ونتاجه العلمي المتنوع، وتجربته الغزيرة ورؤيته الفريدة، مستحضرة قدرته الكبيرة على التفكير الحر، العارف، الموضوعي والمخلص. تريد جمعية جلجامش بهذا التكريم أن نتجنّب الجحود، وأن نحتفظ للقامة الفكرية، التي كانها وسيظل جورج طرابيشي، بمساحة كبيرة في الذاكرة.جورج طرابيشي واحد من قلّة تَعلّمْنا على أيديهم كيف نفكّر وكيف ننتمي الى "النحن والآخر" دون خوف من فقدان هويتنا...

تنظم جمعية جلجامش ندوة خاصة لتكريم الراحل المفكر السوري جورج طرابيشي.يشارك في الندوة التي سيقدمها الدكتور نزار حمود أ. نزار سلوم و د. حسان جمالي و د. محمد أوريا ود. نوفل نيوف.

Through his rich intellectual life and for number of years by his critical analysis and research the late visionary ideologist George Tarabishi had confronted, discussed and dealt with the issues of ideology, culture and politics. Practicing, developing, and forming intellectual awareness and illuminated the thinking of many generations. Gilgamesh society is cherished to honour this pillar thinker who believed in ideology and education to advance his people awareness and progress, and for this particular reason, the Gilgamesh society commemorates the owner of this visionary message George Tarabishi and his various intellectual achievements, his scientific instrumental thinking and his unique insight thoughts. And try to present his great ability to think and research freely, with knowledge, objectivity and honesty. Gilgamesh Society aim is to avoid the guilt of denial of this pillar Thinker's gifts. Stay faithful to George Tarabishi and keep his memory alive as it was and will be occupying big space in our thinking. George Tarabishi is one of very few whom we learnt from how we should think, adapt and relate to "the idea of Us and Them" without fear of losing our own identity.
