La société Gilgamesh a le grand plaisir de vous inviter à la congférence : La pensée arabe contemporaine critique (Sadek Jalal al-Azem comme exemple) Dans l'introduction de son ouvrage « L'autocritique après la défaite », Sadek Jalal al-Azem (1934-2016) avance : « Je souhaite que la pensée arabe consciente ait atteint une phase où elle dépasserait le fait de considérer la critique comme une simple calomnie ou une énumération des défauts et des imperfections sans fin. » Le grand penseur syrien a exercé ce genre de critique, qui demeure associé aux « Lumières » et leurs philosophes, dans le domaine de la connaissance, tout en restant fidèle au marxisme critique et en essayant de garder une distance convenable entre le chercheur et son objet de recherche. Par ailleurs, en dépit de sa spécialisation dans la philosophie kantienne métaphysique, il a quitté sa tour d'ivoire, pour critiquer le religieux et le politique, en se basant sur la rationalité basée elle-même sur la philosophie et la science moderne. La philosophie pour lui prend un sens de la critique destructive et constructive à la fois depuis Kant. Quant à la science, elle est pour lui la source de la connaissance sérieuse de la vérité sur le monde, la société et l’Homme. D'autre part, les liens entre la philosophie avec la science moderne dans le paradigme moderniste seront utilisés dans son étude de la relation entre la Raison et l'Histoire. À travers de nombreux axes et dans une approche critique, dans laquelle al-Azem s’est engagé lui-même, cette conférence tentera de mettre en lumière le chemin intellectuel de ce grand penseur qui a eu une grande conscience de la nécessité de résister aux tentations du pouvoir politique, afin de maintenir l'indépendance nécessaire à la pensée arabe contemporaine enlisée dans ses crises, selon al-Azem. Biographie du conférencier : Mohamed Ourya, Ph.D : Enseignant à l’École de Politique Appliquée de l’Université de Sherbrooke. Membre externe de l’Observatoire du Moyen-Orient et du Maghreb (OMAN) à la chaire Raoul Dandurand en études stratégiques et diplomatiques de l’UQAM. تتشرف جمعية جلجامش بدعوتكم لمحاضرة الفكر العربي النقدي المعاصر - صادق جلال العضم نموذجا التي سيلقيها الدكتور محمد أوريا يقول صادق جلال العضم (١٩٣٤ - ٢٠١٦) "أرجو أن يكون التفكير العربي الواعي قد وصل إلى مرحلة تجاوز فيها اعتبار النقد َ مجرد عملية تجريح أو تعداد لعيوب ومثالب ونقائص لا تنتهي". لقد مارس المفكر السوري الكبير هذا النوع من النقد، الذي يرتبط بالتنوير وفلاسفته، في المجال المعرفي كما بقي وفيّا للماركسية النقدية ومحاولا دائما الاحتفاظ بالمسافة المطلوبة بين ذات الباحث وموضوع بحثه. وعلى الرغم من كونه فيلسوفا متخصصا في الفلسفة الكانطية الميتافيزيقية، إلا أنه استطاع أن ينزل من برجه العاجي ليمارس النقد الديني والسياسي اعتمادا على العقلانية المرتكزة بدورها على الفلسفة والعلم الحديث وانطلاقاً من إيمانه بأن الفلسفة إنما تميل بمعناها الحديث إلى النقد الهدّام والبنّاء معا منذ كانط. لقد نظر صادق جلال العضم إلى العلم بوصفه مصدرا للمعرفة الجدية بحقيقة العالم والمجتمع والإنسان كما تمثل اقتران الفلسفة بالعلم الحديث في المجال التداولي للحداثة٬ لديه في دراسته للعلاقة بين العقل والتاريخ. إنها إذاً أمسية مخصصة لإحياء ذكرى وفكر د. صادق جلال العظم. أمسية نحاول، عبر العديد من المحاور وبالحفاظ على المنهج النقدي الذي التزم به هو نفسه، أن نلقي في أثنائها الضوء على المسار الفكري لهذا المثقف الكبير الذي كان شديد الوعي بضرورة مقاومة إغراءات السلطة السياسية، وذلك في سبيل الحفاظ على الاستقلالية الضرورية للفكر العربي، ولا سيَّما في هذه المرحلة التي كان العظم يرى فيها هذا الفكرَ غارقا في أزمات المرحلة وإرهاصاتها. نبذة عن المحاضر : د. محمد أوريا - أستاذ العلوم السياسية في مدرسة السياسة التطبيقية بجامعة شيربروك الكندية، وهو عضو مرصد الشرق الاوسط والمغرب العربي التابع لمركز راؤول داندوران للدراسات الاستراتيجية والدبلوماسية بجامعة كيبيك بمونتريال . صدر له بالفرنسية ثلاثة كتب : "المؤامرة في المخيال العربي-الإسلامي" (٢٠١٢) "و" الديني في قلاع السياسي" (٢٠١٤) و "الفكر العربي الراهن" (٢٠١٦). Gilgamesh Society is pleased to invite you to a lecture on: Contemporary critical Arab thought (The example of Sadiq Jalal al-Azm) In the introduction to his book “Self-criticism after defeat”, Sadek Jalal al-Azem (1934-2016) argues: “I wish that conscious Arab thought has reached a stage where it would go beyond considering criticism as a simple calumny or an enumeration of defects and imperfections without end.” The great Syrian thinker exercised this kind of criticism, which remains associated with the "Enlightenment" and its philosophers, in the domain of knowledge, while remaining faithful to critical Marxism and trying to keep a suitable distance between the researcher and his research. Moreover, despite his specialization in Kantian metaphysical philosophy, he left his ivory tower, to criticize the religious and the political, based on the rationality itself founded on philosophy and modern science. The philosophy for him takes on a sense of destructive and constructive
criticism both since Kant. As for science, it is for him the source of the serious knowledge of the truth about the world, society, and human. On the other hand, the links between philosophy and modern science in the modernist paradigm will be used in his study on the relationship between Reason and History. Through a number of axes and a critical approach in which al-Azem has committed himself, this conference will try to shed light on the intellectual path of this great thinker, who has had a great awareness of the need to resist temptations of political power, in order to maintain the required independence for contemporary Arab thought stalled in its crises, according to al-Azem.
